Summary/Abstract: The article dwells on the specifics of showing the image of Kazan in the poetry Renat Haris, a famous Tatar poet. The image of Kazan in the poetic world of R. Haris becomes a multi-valued and multi-dimensional symbol, which holds the past and present, and the metaphor of "Kazan-book", a city of poets, composers, beautiful women is used.
