Summary/Abstract: The dialogue between the generation of grandparents and grandchildren is very important in the educational process, particularly in the face of the existing conflict between parents and their children. Studies show that there is vivid dialogue between grandparents and grandchildren in the rural environment, but it has some important feature, especially from the point of view of the children, namely the type of the contact, consisting mainly of the educational role of the senior generation. Children are reluctant to look at the role in bringing them up, especially in the context of paying attention to their behavior,criticizing or moralizing.They wish rather to listen to stories from old times. As it is in the case of relation between parents and children, contact with grandparents is often characterized by lack of time for grandchildren, due to daily tasks of grandparents.
