Summary/Abstract: In media there can be fund from time to time some news about free time of children and adolescents. The authors of it present initiatives undertaken by children in the area of spending free time. They also show negative consequences of the actions made by children just for leisure. The families can use free time to shape the personality of children, to stimulate their activity, to develop the life force, abilities or talents. The author presents the results of research work, conducted among 134 students of high school, concerning their interests.
