Summary/Abstract: Career development is important for every human being. A career in a family business is conditioned by relations within the family. The employees related to the founder of the family business, or the person holding the largest stake, have the greatest development opportunities. The highest positions are occupied by the successors of the founder. In turn, the career path development is hampered for employees from outside the family, as it is reserved for members of the founder’s family.
