Summary/Abstract: Motivating employees contributes to the development of their careers. An appropriate process of motivation probably encourages employees to develop their own career. Motivated employees want to achieve a success and prosperity in life. That is why they are more willing to “make a career”. Such motivating means affecting the employees to behave in the manner expected by the employer. Motivating means influence by means of tangible and intangible incentives. The motivation of employees is affected by the prospect of professional development, the possibility of advancement, salary, appreciation by the superior and friendly atmosphere at work. Motivation can be divided into internal and external, and positive and negative.
