Sources of Financing Family Business

Summary/Abstract: In the present work undertaken on the issues relating to one of the most important aspects of the family business, the sources of its financing. Discussion of these issues is very important, because the family business represents the majority of companies operating in the SME sector, and thus significantly affects the level of economic development of the state. The work focuses both on discussing the basic forms of financing family businesses, as well as the problems and difficulties which exist in obtaining capital for their effective functioning. The work was divided into three chapters. The first discusses the nature of family businesses, and so given their definition and characteristics, and presented their typology. The second part describes the method of financing the activities carried out within the family business, highlighting among other things, funding through equity and foreign. In the third section, and they characterized the source of financing family businesses based on various studies, proving that the most important of these sources is equity.
