Summary/Abstract: In the article authors attempt to determine the role of various communication channels (text, audio-visual materials, resource sharing, personal meeting) in a multicultural aspect of enterprise cooperation. Advantages and disadvantages of particular communication channels have been signaled in it, considering their division into asynchronous and synchronous ones. The authors have proposed a multicriterial model of communication channel selection which is based on AHP method (analytic hierarchic process) in the outlined area. They also attempt to interpret the obtained research results, indicating the role of electronic communication channels in blurring the distinctions and, first of all, barriers resulting from the fact that enterprises which want to establish cooperation come from different cultural backgrounds.
