The Impact of Fiscalism on Economic Growth in Poland and EU

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to assess the impact of fiscalism on economic growth in Poland and other EU member states. Detailed analysis was carried out in terms of share of total general government revenue and expenditure in GDP, the share of general government revenue in general government expenditure, the share of tax Revenue in GDP, total tax rate (% of commercial profits), taxes on goods and services (% of revenue) as well as taxes on income, profits and capital gains (% of revenue).
