Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to provide a critical analysis of the relationshipbetween the level of organizational culture and the level of professional satisfaction of theuniversity staff. In the research of organizational culture, we have started from its importance foracademic excellence. Testing "the level of organizational culture" reveals the followingcharacteristics: attitude towards work; communications; management, motivation and morality.Measuring professional satisfaction included identifying the satisfaction of curricular andextracurricular activities with students, involvement in scientific research, the conditions offered foruniversity intellectual development and career advancement, the quality of administrative decisionmaking and internal university policies, and a number of external factors and conditions. The studyconcluded that measuring and analyzing the level of organizational culture of the university canlead to valuable results on the professional satisfaction and performance of the institution.
