Summary/Abstract: Tourism is an important part of economic development for many regions. Young people are a significant group of consumers in the tourism market. This younger market is growing in size and is generating more expenses, but also more profits. This was a target group of respondents in our study. The cost of travel has proven to be the main factor impacting on the decision to travel, and recommendations and information researched on the internet have become the main resources for the selection of a destination.
