Summary/Abstract: The goal of this article is to present preferences of contemporary clients regarding official matters. The article describes the role of e-services and e-administration in the information society, as well as the characteristics of the contemporary client. Attention was also paid to the benefits and threats resulting from the implementation of electronic administration, as well as the reasons for customer dissatisfaction with theuse of e-services. As a research method, the literature analysis of available statistical data on e-administration from the Report of the Ministry of Digitalization from 2016 E-administration in the eyes of Internet users for all voivodships in Poland was adopted.
