Systematisation of Selected Concepts of Public Management

Summary/Abstract: The article reviews selected concepts from the area of public management. The neo-weberian concept was characterized opposite to other concepts of managing a public organization such as new public management and governance. Each of the analyzed trends has been described in the aspect of its main assumptions and ideas in reference to the benefits and limitations accompanying its implementation. In the last part of the article,a comparative analysis of the analyzed paradigms was made due to selected criteria.
