The Level of Knowledge of Selected Tools, Lean Management Methods Used in Logistics Among Employees of a Production Company – Results of Surveys

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to present the results of research on the level of knowledge of selected fourteen tools, methods or Lean Management definitions used in logistics in their daily work, which can contribute to improving the flow of products and information. The use of these tools and methods influences, on the one hand, the elimination of wastes in the enterprise,and it affects the satisfaction of the customer who receives a product of good quality and consistent with the order on time, on the other. The article contains two parts: theoretical and empirical. The first one presents a short description of selected tools, Lean Management methods used in logistics. The second one presents the results of the survey.
