Summary/Abstract: Eurasian Economic Union includes Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. However, Russia’s position is dominant. Economic integration usually leads to intensification of internationalization process due to elimination of existing barriers among economies. An increase in trade and capital flows can be therefore expected. Moreover, internationalization through networks is one of the forms/instruments of firm internationalization. The goal of this article is to present the perception of opportunities resulting from establishment of Eurasian Economic Union as well as the internationalization through networks among enterprises in Kazakhstan. The article presents a fragment of the research results conducted in the period between August 12th and September 28th 2016 in the area of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The classification criterion for investigation was the export activity of the firm. The investigation includes firms in the database of exporters from Kazakhstan called KazNextInwest. It includes 731 enterprises. Enterprises answered a questionnaire with the use of CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Intervieving). Finally, the research was conducted on the sample of 108 exporters which function in the area of the Republic of Kazakhstan.The article presents the importance of networking and cooperation in the process of firm internationalization, characteristics of Eurasian Economic Union and the research results. In the summary final conclusions are included.
