Summary/Abstract: The strategic decision for an enterprise is the selection of the development direction that leads through the creation of innovations and their implementation. The objectiveof the paper, worked out by the authors, was to find a classification model that will make itpossible to differentiate enterprises in relation with their innovativeness level. For modelling and classifying the enterprise innovativeness level, a tool applied in the data mining method– the decision trees – was used.
