Summary/Abstract: The motivational system has a huge impact on the efficiency, commitment and overall health of human resources in the company, which is why when new tools appear to stimulate the level of employee motivation, it is worth examining them. This article defines the concept of gamification and describes the possibilities of intensify ingemployee motivation thanks to the implementation of this tool in SMEs. The most important factors influencing the perception of gameplay experience and basic design principles that should be guided in the process of creating gamification have also been determined. I also presented the probable problems that can be encountered in the implementation of gamification in SMEs, and the ways in which they can be addressed. This article is also a theoretical foundation for further research by the author of the publication.
