Summary/Abstract: Mexico is a country that benefits from mass tourism, can boast of a large number of valuable modern architectural objects, including those on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Unfortunately, due to bad management and promotion, some of them are not known to the general public. The comparison of three objects differently managed for tourist traffic allows to indicate the links between the management of objects and their „popularity” among tourists. For representative examples, the author accepts the following objects: the well-known and easily accessible Anthropological Museum, the newly created Sumaya Museum, and the house-studio of Luis Barragán, the Pritzker Prize winner, very difficult to reach despite the location in the city centre of Mexico.
