Summary/Abstract: The rules of the free market are undoubtedly one of the foundations of the liberal society. The state should therefore protect the principles of the free market, including the integrity of competition. The article attempts to present solutions regarding the protectionof the rules of the free market and competition under criminal law and the act on combating unfair competition based on the presented case. In the author’s opinion, the existing regulations in this respect, through their compatibility, can provide comprehensive protection to the victims.
