Validation in the Integrated Qualification System – a New Task for Career Counseling

Summary/Abstract: The article aims to present the main assumptions of the validation process in the Integrated Qualifications System and to outline new tasks for career counseling. Validation, i.e. verifying if the person applying for the appropriate qualification, regardless of the way of learning, has achieved only a part or all of the learning outcomes for this qualification, assumes the participation of a validation advisor and a validation assessor.At particular stages, they will support people applying for validation and verify their learning outcomes.
