Summary/Abstract: The paper refers to the role of an employee in the contemporary organization andconnected to its expectations. Today organizations double-track activity. They realizing theirmission in repeated process, but on the other hand they participate in realizing different projects as elements bigger network structures. In this situation, employee must work in two roleswhich are opposite and need different attributes of personality. The result of it is a motivationalconflict between the needs of safety and liberty. This conflict manifest itself in three types ofrelations: between employee and social group in organization, between employee and formalorganization, between employee and his authority. The paper showed conditions for resolvingthis conflict
