Summary/Abstract: Manufacturing companies are characterized as very complex systems. To ensure that their products meet customer requirements all of the elements need to beworking without disruption. Due to that there are implemented methods which help with quality management and also support productivity in the field of production. Especially needed are methods which help with repairs of machines and devices. Most of the highly developed companies implement TPM methodology to improve their results in production machines maintenance. Authors analyze the process of TPM implementation and indicate good practices in this field.
