Summary/Abstract: The idea of risk has come to appear indispensable for understanding our time. This contribution puts risk inside leaned model of relations between science, economy and society. Systemic Risk of Civil Society and Economy and Science need to be managed by business. Sources and drives of systemic risk in new science-economic system are analyzed, and related governance issues are identified. In this paper I aim to do three things: (1)clarify the terms of discussion, (2) speculate about why so many intellectual and business currents nowadays converge around the idea of systemic risk, and (3) discuss the influential account of the place of “risk” in modern society- Ulrich’s Beck’s “risk society” thesis.
