Summary/Abstract: How did the Data Protection Officer evolved in the last one and a half year starting May 25th 2018? This article aims to show the difficulties the DPO encountered in its activity and the ways to succeed in assisting the controller to succesfully implement GDPR. We still have more questions than answers regarding the best method to persuade the top management to cooperate and to allocate resources for the implementation.
