Summary/Abstract: The phenomenon of succession is an important, but often underestimated element of the family businesses functioning. In companies that have long been operating in the market always comes to switching Management-person. Choosing the right people and the way it should be done before the result set strategy. The article describes the succession and points to the problems of its taking. Also the examples of family businesses are shown in which the succession was carried out in accordance with the strategy of the doyen and success.
