Human Dignity and Religious Freedom in the Context of Meeting the Needs of the Elderly

Summary/Abstract: Religious freedom is one of the fundamental human rights. It includes the positive and negative religious freedom. Approaching a theme such as the needs and resources of third-age people can help shape out new perspectives on the dynamics of needs in the final stage of life, their causes and the best ways to meet them. At a practical level, approaching such a topic can provide useful data in order to identify the elderly people’s causes of the needs in different areas and to create and implement interventions in order to reduce or eliminate these causes; to provide education programs with the purpose of developing skills to deal with efficiency these needs and problems that third-age people deal with and to identify and efficiently intervene in needy elderly people.
