Vantukh's vocational education during the 1950–1970s were training at the Lviv Cultural and Educational School, the internship at the USSR State Dance Ensemble; Significant experience was acquired while working in the ensemble of the Carpathian Military District. Among the immediate reasons for the transition of M. Vantukh into a job at the State Honored Academic Dance Ensemble of the Ukrainian SSR named P.
