Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to approach communication as a strategic component of the company management. The communication plan, the communication strategy as well as the existence of a communication department and/or of a person/manager in charge of internal communication are essential elements in organizing an internal communication system in a company. The effectiveness of this system is essential for the company’s efficiency and effectiveness as it contributes to increased productivity, motivation and performance leading to better financial results.
