Summary/Abstract: This paper intends to be the first in a series dedicated to the analysis of corporate annual reports from a communicative perspective. We will start this analysis by detailing the elements of the communication process (message, receiver, channel etc.) as they appear in the corporate annual reports of the companies following that in the next papers we will deepen our study with a historical approach and a case study on the persuasive function of these documents.
