President of Poland in the National Security System

Summary/Abstract: The article present problem of the participation of the President of the Republic of Poland in the implementation of tasks in the area of national security, including the multi-state nature. In the first part the author presents the origins and evolution of the institution of the President of our country. The second and third parts of the paper presents the considerations in respect of the powers and duties of head of state in the national security system. The result of our topic are the conclusions and recommendations relating to the role of President of the Republic in the national security system.
