Summary/Abstract: The entry into force of the new Criminal Procedure Code is an important moment in the evolution of the legal system of any state, given that it must enjoy stability, coming in response to needs arising in practice. This paper aims to observe to what extent the role of the lawyer is, in accordinance with the new legislation and the impact on its rights in criminal proceedings by analyzing institutions changed.
