Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study is to present our view and theoretical definition of terms language and communication conditions and language and communication expressions as the paper is a part of larger dissertation research on ideological influence in socialistic era. Our ambition is to point out the interdisciplinary link between two humanities-focused subjects – linguistics and history. We focused on the context of 1960s in Slovakia specified by lexical examples showing a possible way to influence language. The continuing research shows that the most affected language sphere is lexicon. In conclusion, we present possible options of usage of language analyses in historical research.
