Summary/Abstract: The image of a child with Asperger’s cannot be treated as a definitely homogeneous image and full, characteristic for all children affected by it. Individuals affected by this disorder are likely to suffer from impairments. These are: impairment of relationships, impairment of social communication, impairment of understanding social relationships, and impaired development of the imagination. The role of teachers/educators is to observe the behavior of a child – especially in the peer group, point out areas which should be improved and work with the child during the implementation of educational and therapeutic program.
