Summary/Abstract: The consequence of committing the murder under these conditions, that is to act kindly to the victim, had represented object of research and controversies as far back as ancient times. The Romanian legislation had firmly situated on the position of punishing the murder in case of euthanasia, even if the victim’s consent exists, because the right to life, the bodily integrity and the health are the essential values of mankind. The discussion on euthanasia greatly depends on the economic and cultural level of a nation and in Romania the arguments against euthanasia are multiple.
