Summary/Abstract: Mihail Gruev is the President of the Archives State Agency, Bulgaria. He was born on 25th October 1971 in Sofia. He holds a PhD in History with a dissertation thesis “The Bulgarian Muslims in the state politics of Bulgaria (1944-1959)”. He began teaching in the Faculty of History in Sofia University in 2002 and became an associate professor in 2009. Assoc. Prof. Gruev is author of monographs and articles on the so called “Revival process” in Bulgaria, the processes of the collectivization of Agriculture in communist Bulgaria (“Reploughed Boundaries. Collectivization and social change in Bulgarian Northwest, 1940s – 1950s, the Elites of the Communist party and etc.
