Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to introduce, basing on Sarah Sarasvathy’s works, the logic of effectuation and to juxtapose it to causation. Effectuation is a way of thinking that is practiced by expert entrepreneurs. Effectual entrepreneurs do not predict the future but perceive it as possible to control due to their actions.
