THE FEATURES OF MUSICAL DRAMATURGY OF CHILDREN'S OPERA BY IGOR SHCHERBAKOV "THE WITCH TRAP"

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to determine the features of the development of dramatic action of the children's opera by I. Shcherbakov " The witch Trap" and appropriate means of expression. The methodology is based on a comprehensive analysis of the specified opera and the benchmarking method of the opera by K. Stetsenko "Ivasyk Telesyk." The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time was the analysis of the children's opera" The witch Trap" by which features of drama are determined. Conclusions. It was established leading compositional principles that form a special author model of the opera "The witch Trap" by I. Shcherbakov. The author model of the opera consists of the organic combination of the modern means of the musical expression with the traditions of the Ukrainian music.
