Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to provide a case study on website localization, highlight some of the difficulties that may arise during the process and offer possible solutions for overcoming them. Due to the practical nature of the project, a visual approach was taken, in order to emphasize the difficulties encountered and to better present the final product. This paper includes a section analysing the localisation phenomenon in the Romanian market and a section on the theoretical framework, meant to provide background to the practical aspect of the study, as well as a set of conclusions, as resulted from carrying out the project.
