Influence and Political Power in International, Global and Other Relations

Summary/Abstract: The work deals with the issue of relationships between political power and influence in international, global and other relations. The issue is elaborated in the work having in mind the questions of, first, power in general, social and political power, and influence; secondly, actions for exerting influence. The works provides various lists of these actions, and author’s conclusions about the issue: persuasion, promise, reward, threat, punishment and maybe conditioning (at least according to certain author’s views). Influence is determined as a key form of looming and utilisation of political power in international relations.
