INTERNATIONAL MIGRATION IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

Summary/Abstract: The issue of international labor force migration and especially its analysis both at European level and at the level of our country can be considered a topic of great importance for the current research in the economic-social field,especially in the context of massive movements and labor mobility at European Union level. This aspect can have major consequences in the economy of countries of origin and destination of the migrant population, as well as socially, politically,individually and historically. The complex phenomenon of globalization has redefined the relations between states on a global scale, the borders becoming less and less evident, as entire communities of people left their place of origin and chose to live in areas where the quality of life was much better.
