Assessment of the attractiveness of the city park’s space in Ostrołęka

Summary/Abstract: In this paper there are discussed problems relating to the urban park space. As result of carried out research there were chosen elements of the space having influence on the attractiveness of the described area. Chosen elements of the space helped to work out the method of the assessment of the attractiveness of city parks. In the further part, the worked out method was verified on the chosen research object. As result of the verification it was ascertained that the presented, in the study, method admits of the assessment of the level of the attractiveness of mentioned above grounds, responding to questions: if the ground was brought into cultivation correctly and which from elements of the space must undergo changes. Besides, results of carried out assessment can be helpful in making proper decisions during the operating of revitalization works.
