Summary/Abstract: The main object of the study was to provide method for assessing the state of development of trams and evaluation results obtained on the basis of its verification. Selected elements of the development of the tram having a particular impact on their attractiveness were selected within the specific objectives as a result of the analysis of the literature, collected surveys and our own thoughts. These elements are called measures of assessment for developing these guidelines for evaluation and principles of assessment. Evaluation measures and principles were also developed. The method was validated by evaluating thirteen tram stops located in the city of Olsztyn.
