Summary/Abstract: Poland's housing situation distinguishes her negatively in the group of European countries. In addition to large differences between individual countries, there is also considerable contrast between the largest cities. Łódź has an extremely difficult housing situation compared with other cities. The thesis has been formulated that the housing situation in the country was impoved at the cost of Łódź.
