Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the approaches regarding the essence of the opposition and its relations with the governing power. Based on the analysis of the factual and theoretic material, the author pleads for the institutionalization of the opposition through the elaboration of a law which would guarantee the functionality of the opposition.
