Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes the approaches regarding the essence of the opposition and its relations with the governing power. Based on t he analysis of thefactual and theoretic material, the author pleads for the institutionalization of the opposition through the elaboration of a law which would guarantee the functionality ofthe opposition.
