Summary/Abstract: The article characterizes the category of sociosponsorship, which is considered to be a socially committed form of sponsorship. At the beginning, the category of sponsorship is presented. Then, its type - social sponsorship - is characterized, as well as the fields, on which this form of sponsorship can be practiced. In the last part of the article there are some practical advices presented, including how to obtain a sponsor and what to look for when executing sponsorship cooperation.
