Summary/Abstract: The article entitled: Assistant family - a new form of work with dysfunctional families reveals a new form of work with dysfunctional families. The author attempts to define the concept of family assistant, to show tasks, functions and working methods of the family assistant, assistant difficulties in working families and desirable qualifications and suitability of persons engaged in this profession.
