Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to determine the community of insect (Insecta) in the agricultural biotop with two commercial crops plants Medicago sp. (insectochoria) and Hordeum sp. (aerochoria), which used the insecticides by the growing crops. The chosen biotop is located in region Trnava at extravilan of the village Malženice (SW Slovakia). The entomological material we acquire method with use the impact glue traps every week (heptada) during the vegetation period (April to Juli) in the year 2017. We counted approximately 5998 exemplars of insect from 15 ordos along with Aranea. They belong to 45 species originating from 41 different families. At the site A (Medicago sp. – insectochoria) were 4929 exemplars with 35 species. The site B (Hordeum sp. – aerochoria) showed a total 1069 exemplars with 26 species. The dominant ordos were: Auchenorrhyncha and Lepidoptera (8,9 %), Hymenoptera (11,1 %), Diptera (20,0 %) and Coleoptera (22,2 %). The highest dominance values were found in the folloving families: Carabidae (5,7 %), Chrysomelidae (7,2 %), Sarcophagidae (6,0 %), Muscidae (23,3 %) and Syrphidae (24,3 %). The research also contains seasonal dynamics, cenotic and structural features of insect in the choosen commercial crops (Medicago sp. vs. Hordeum sp.).
