Summary/Abstract: This research presents the examination of naming ability in people with aphasia and determining error category along with checking how frequently appear the errors on the same tasks, which are conected to matching a pronounced and a written word with the picture. The examinees were 16 people with aphasic impairments, eight women and eight men who were 32 to 60 years otd. This research was conducted with the help of two subtesis of Psycholinguistic Assessments of Language Processing in Aphasia (PALPA, Kay, Lesser, colthear, 1992) spoken word picture matching and written word picture matching' Assumption that there was a dffirence in conecting the pronounce and tie written word with picture among dfferent types of aphasia is not confirmed.. The results have not shown the systematization of errors on the same exercises. The errors which appeared in both subtests were present at most participants regardless of the localization of damage and the type of aphasia'
