Summary/Abstract: This article presents selected information regarding sensory integration dysfunctions in early childhood autism. The article characterizes the role and functions of the vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile systems. It also proposes a selection of exercises that may be used to stimulate and stabilize the vestibular-proprioceptive system.
