Summary/Abstract: It was recently discovered a document dating from 1847, an evaluation report on the house currently located in Sibiu, Piaţa Mică nr. 25. Over time, the house was owned by some goldsmiths, by the typographers’ Barth family and then by the publisher Samuel Filtsch. The document brings us important information regarding the house structure, the materials from which it was built and about its value to the middle of the nineteenth century.
